I’ve been a writer since I was six. Published poetry when I was a teenager (even got paid!), worked as a TV journalist for 20 years covering news ranging from farm stories in Nebraska to the Tiananmen Square democracy movement in ’89. Over the last 20 years I’ve published novels and a range of articles while working in the relief and development field.
Hong Kong has been my home for the past 35 years. I live in a village with my wife, Wendy. Our two children are also in Hong Kong. I am a Christian.
